I think Google Talk is a far superior IM client because it doesn't have all the extra crap the others use. The features that it does have are amazing. The ability to talk, in just as good clarity as if you were on the phone, easily and for free is great I think. Sending voice mails to someone's inbox is aslo a great feature. Yeah, actual contact with a person is always better, but if that isn't possible, Google has made it extremely easy to connect in cyberspace.

Another note, I just got an email from Alexandre (one of the creators of Wikipedia) and he let me know that they are about ready to release a very cool new feature that relates directly to your other post that I commented on. :) It is a bit hush-hush right now, but be on the look out for it (I will have a post on it at my Wikimapia blog) when they release it. Good stuff. :)

I reckon you're right but honestly, if it were at all possible, I would put an end to all this IM madness and step back into the real world. Apparently direct communication is more fascinating. Baffling, I know.

When I was living in London, I never missed a Liverpool game but when it comes down to it, I'm a Chelsea supporter (even if they haven't been playing their best lately).

Hi, I actually did a writeup comparing Wikimapia and Google Earth the other day at my WIkimapia blog. Both, I think, are very useful tools depending on what you want to do.

As far as the resolutions go, both, in theory, should be the same since Wikimapia uses Google Maps for its images (although I have heard that, for some reason, Google Maps will sometimes update its imagery before Google Earth, no idea why).

Totally agree.Apparently the FA are also conducting an investigation on the matter and are soon expected to come out with a verdict. It'll be interesting to see if there is any evidence on the matter.Newcastle Asst Manager has already been sacked,so there must be something wrong for sure.

i think corruption in football (or anything in life, for that matter) has existed since god knows when.

my personal opinion is that if the claims can be proven, then action should be taken. otherwise, all these hoo-ha is nothing new and is disruptive to football. furthermore, the FA should clearly redefine policies and conduct regarding player transfers and agents' dealings.
