Google Talk Available for all
Google Talk is no longer available only for Gmail users as earlier and it is now available for all.A quick look at its set of features seems promising, yet we wonder if it will really dominate over other messengers such as Yahoo or a MSN.
Here’s are Google Talk’s set of features apart from easier installation than before.
(From webpronews.com)
Features
• free and crystal clear voice calls to your friends and family anywhere in the world
• transfer files and folders to others
• free voicemail messages
• IM from your BlackBerry
Interesting, but from what I can see and read thus far,the IM users wont quite be shifting to Google Talk yet,but it may actually happen and this move is a step in the right direction. Here’s the link to Google Talk if you want to try it out.

I reckon you’re right but honestly, if it were at all possible, I would put an end to all this IM madness and step back into the real world. Apparently direct communication is more fascinating. Baffling, I know.
When I was living in London, I never missed a Liverpool game but when it comes down to it, I’m a Chelsea supporter (even if they haven’t been playing their best lately).

I think Google Talk is a far superior IM client because it doesn’t have all the extra crap the others use. The features that it does have are amazing. The ability to talk, in just as good clarity as if you were on the phone, easily and for free is great I think. Sending voice mails to someone’s inbox is aslo a great feature. Yeah, actual contact with a person is always better, but if that isn’t possible, Google has made it extremely easy to connect in cyberspace.
Another note, I just got an email from Alexandre (one of the creators of Wikipedia) and he let me know that they are about ready to release a very cool new feature that relates directly to your other post that I commented on.
It is a bit hush-hush right now, but be on the look out for it (I will have a post on it at my Wikimapia blog) when they release it. Good stuff.

Oops, I mean one of the creators of Wikimapia, not Wikipedia. My bad!
